Nicolette S. Wolfrey

Associate
Nicolette Wolfrey

Nicolette Wolfrey provides business-oriented legal research and litigation solutions to clients in a variety of industries. Nicolette is an organized and motivated problem solver who understands the complexities of ongoing litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Nicolette clerked for the Honorable Brynja M. Booth on the Maryland Supreme Court, where she witnessed litigation and oral appellate advocacy at the highest state level. Nicolette brings this experience to bear in strategizing legal research and crafting solutions with the broader life span of litigation in mind.

Beyond her clerkship, Nicolette gained experience in law school as a student legal representative at the University of Virginia School of Law Civil Rights Clinic. There, Nicolette worked directly with incarcerated populations in ongoing class action settlement matters, actively listened to clients’ concerns, and effectively communicated these to the court. Nicolette honed her legal research and writing skills as a member of the University of Virginia Journal of Law and Politics and as a research assistant to Professor Richard Bonnie as he prepared a new edition of his casebook, Public Health Law, Ethics, and Policy, for publication. The combination of these experiences positions Nicolette to not only identify issues, but to effectively listen to clients, heed their concerns, and develop creative solutions.
