Venable partner Ralph Dengler was quoted in an October 31, 2016, Law360 article about a Texas federal judge's decision to uphold a September 2015 jury verdict in favor of NobelBiz in a patent infringement trial. In maintaining the jury’s unanimous verdict, the judge also sustained the jury's damages award of almost $1.5 million to NobelBiz and added additional costs and interests, and enhanced damages due to the defendants' willfulness. Nobelbiz now stands to receive $2.2 million in damages.
