CriccoLizza Gianna

Gianna Cricco-Lizza focuses her practice on representing clients in intellectual property (IP) disputes in federal district and appellate courts. Gianna also supports clients in assessing IP, monitoring enforcement, and licensing. When litigation is necessary, she provides counseling through all phases, from pre-suit diligence and drafting of pleadings to preliminary injunctions, early motions to dismiss, discovery, mediation, claim construction, motions for summary judgment, trial, and appeal.

Gianna has extensive experience counseling clients on claims relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, anti-counterfeiting, unfair competition, contracts, and business torts. Her clients span a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, streaming and social media, luxury goods, consumer products, and entertainment.

Before entering private practice at a law firm in New Jersey, Gianna clerked for U.S. District Judge Mary L. Cooper in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. While pursuing her law degree, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Cathy L. Waldor of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
