Computerworld surveyed more than 2000 data protection officers to compile its third annual list of the top privacy advisers. The publication ranked Venable's Privacy Practice second among top privacy firms and ranked Venable partner Stu Ingis second on its list of "top global privacy experts."
The Computerworld survey also reported that despite the economic downturn, corporate spending on privacy should increase in 2009. According to the publication, 31 percent of the data protection officers surveyed reported an increase in their 2009 budgets.
