Venable's Tax Lobbying Group, which includes partners Ray Beeman, Sam Olchyk and John O'Neill, was recently recognized by Tax Analysts as one of four tax lobbying firms that brought in more than three new clients in third quarter 2009, based on lobbying registration forms. Several members of Venable's legislative practice, including Rick Hegg, Jeff Kurzweil, Will Nordwind and Rob Smith, are also involved in these client representations.
Venable's new clients include hotel and travel groups, as well as a large manufacturing association and a health care company.
The recognition was also mentioned in the November 2, 2009 edition of Tax Notes magazine.
