Roll Call details how Quinn brothers led the way in lobbying on Irish issues

1 min

The March 17 issue of Roll Call details how Venable partner Tom Quinn and his brother Paul, a lobbyist at Nossaman, have taken the lead in lobbying on Ireland-related issues since the 1960s, when few in Congress were interested in issues facing Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Among the highpoints of Tom’s long record of advocacy on Irish issues is his appointment, by President Clinton, to serve as the alternate U.S. observer to the International Fund for Ireland.

Both Quinn brothers have long supported the American Ireland Fund dinner, which Paul founded 18 years ago. The event raises money for the American Ireland Fund, a nonprofit that have given more than $250 million for peace and reconciliation, arts and culture, community development and education programs in Ireland.
