Venable partner Stu Ingis was quoted today in continuing coverage of the recently announced behavioral advertising self-regulatory initiative developed by Ingis' client, the Digital Advertising Alliance.
Behavioral advertising compliance company PreferenceCentral announced that it was applying to become one of the DAA's first "Approved Providers" for compliance services in relation to the program--a self-regulatory initiative designed to provide consumers with more choice about the ads they see online. Said Ingis, "We are delighted that PreferenceCentral is applying to be an approved provider of services under this program. We look forward to their participation in this important initiative."
Ingis has been quoted in a number of publications regarding the DAA's new "Advertising Option Icon" program, including The New York Times, Bloomberg Business Week and Ad Week.
