George Constantine quoted in the New York Times

Venable partner George Constantine was quoted in a July 19, 2011, New York Times article about three nonprofit groups that recruited and trained potential political candidates in the last few years and were denied tax exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service (I.R.S.). These types of nonprofit groups have become more common in recent elections.

Commenting on the I.R.S.' decision, Constantine said, "I think the I.R.S. may have been just relying on past decisions it has made in similar cases when it issued these denial letters."
