Venable provides pro bono assistance to University of Maryland School of Law's Access to Justice Clinic class action suit

The Daily Record noted in an October 4, 2011 article that Venable was providing pro bono assistance in a class action suit brought by the University of Maryland School of Law's Access to Justice Clinic. With support from the American Bar Association, the suit urges Maryland’s top court to uphold a lower court’s decision that defendants have the right to be represented by counsel at initial bail hearings.
