Venable partner Paul Kaplun has been reappointed to a three-year term as a member of the Board of Trustees of Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland and will serve as Vice Chair of the Board for 2012. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Holy Cross Hospital Foundation where he has served as Board Chair for the past three years.
Holy Cross Hospital is the second largest hospital in the State of Maryland and recently broke ground on two new construction projects that will cost $400 million – the first project being an expansion of its existing campus in Silver Spring and the second being the construction of a new hospital in Germantown, Maryland which will be the first new hospital to be built in Montgomery County, Maryland in over 35 years. The projected completion dates for these new projects are 2013 and 2014, respectively.
