Venable partner Ron Jacobs was quoted in a December 28, 2011 Politico article about the recent move by Our Destiny PAC, the super PAC supporting Republican Jon Huntsman’s presidential bid, to change the frequency of its filings with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) from quarterly to monthly.
Commenting on the move, Jacobs, who serves as the PAC’s counsel, said, “Our Destiny PAC changed its filing schedule to make filing easier as it gets involved in additional primaries (a practice encouraged by the FEC).” When asked about the PAC’s fundraising, Jacobs said, “Our Destiny has received a number of contributions from a variety of different individuals from around the country, to support Jon Huntsman.”
