Stu Ingis quoted in AdWeek on self-regulation of internet advertising

Venable partner Stu Ingis was quoted in an April 2, 2012 article in AdWeek about self-regulation in the internet advertising community. At a White House event in February, the Digital Advertising Alliance, represented by Ingis, proposed an expansion of the program that would let web users opt-out of targeted advertising through their browsers.

Commenting on the internet advertising industry’s relationship with the Federal Trade Commission and self-regulation, Ingis said, “The industry has implemented everything the FTC has asked for over the last three years… There is no doubt the industry’s self-regulation program has taken hold.”
