At a White House ceremony on May 17, 2012, Secretary of Commerce John Bryson presented Venable client Gulf South Forest Products, Inc. with the President’s “E” Award in recognition of the company’s contributions to the expansion of U.S. exports. Gulf South, a leading worldwide exporter of quality lumber, plywood and poles, is represented by Venable partner Ed Wilson and associate Andrew Bigart.
Created by President John F. Kennedy through Executive Order in 1961, the “E” Award affords suitable recognition to persons, firms, or organizations which contribute significantly in the effort to increase United States exports.
