On July 3, 2012 Center Maryland released the second part of its list of 50 very influential Marylanders. Among the names included on the list was Venable Chair Jim Shea.
Shea was described as “a political player and civic do-gooder.” Additionally, John Stierhoff, Glenn Ivey, and Peter O’Malley were called “savvy Maryland insiders” while Ben Civiletti , Birch Bayh, and Bart Stupak were called “Washington eminences.”
