The award honors Jeremy G. Epstein who logged over 5,000 hours of pro bono and public service work over decades. He served on the board of the City Bar Justice Center, The Legal Aid Society and the Fund for Modern Courts. The City Bar Justice Center works to increase access to justice by leveraging the resources of the New York City legal community. Every year, the Justice Center provides direct legal representation, information and advocacy to over 25,000 poor and vulnerable New Yorkers.
