Venable partner Claudia Lewis was quoted by Law360 in a November 28, 2012 article about the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) recent letter to Sens. Dick Durbin (D-Ill) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn) on caffeinated energy drinks. The letter suggested the FDA is preparing to implement new labeling requirements, but is not currently pursuing age restrictions on caffeine consumption.
Commenting on the letter, Lewis said she "was surprised the letter wasn't more alarmist in terms of caffeine."
