Baltimore, MD  (February 27, 2013) – Venable LLP is pleased to announce that partner Dino S. Sangiamo has been listed among the top litigators in the 2013 BTI Client Service All-Stars Report.

The 2013 BTI Client Service All-Stars report, issued by The BTI Consulting Group of Wellesley, MA, recognized attorneys nationwide with nearly a third of those chosen focusing on litigation.  Attorneys were listed in the report based on their ability to deliver solid outcomes, effectively communicate litigation strategy and prioritize their clients' business interests.

Attorneys recognized in the report were singled out individually and unprompted by corporate counsel from the world’s largest organizations including Global 500 and Fortune 1000 companies.  From March 22 to September 12, 2012, BTI conducted in-depth interviews with 240 corporate counsel to examine all aspects of client relationships.

A partner in Venable’s Baltimore office, Mr. Sangiamo litigates civil cases in state and federal courts across the country.  Much of his practice is in the health arena, where his clients include pharmaceutical manufacturers, hospital systems, and medical research institutions.  Mr. Sangiamo handles a variety of litigation matters, including products liability cases, qui tam lawsuits and commercial disputes between businesses, in both arbitration and conventional litigation settings.  He has argued cases of first impression before appellate courts, assisted in proceedings before congressional committees and consulted on public relations activities and business initiatives.  His experience with the unique legal aspects of the vaccine industry also includes familiarity with national vaccine legislation and implications for industry of proceedings in Vaccine Court, where he has argued motions on behalf of a vaccine manufacturer.

Geoff Garinther, who heads the firm’s litigation division, noted, “Dino is, of course, a top litigator with exceptional depth and knowledge of his field.  But his colleagues are especially pleased for him because of his genuine and generous nature.  The service which he provides to his clients, and which won him this distinction, is the same attention he gives to all of us.  We congratulate him on this superb honor.”

Mr. Sangiamo is the second Venable attorney singled out by corporate counsel in the annual BTI Client Service All-Stars Report. Partner Thomas D. Washburne, Jr. was recognized in the 2010 report.
