Dubai Economic Council signs Memorandum of Understanding with Larta Institute in Venable’s Washington, DC office

On October 11, 2013 the Dubai Economic Council signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Larta Institute, a professional services firm that designs and implements commercialization programs throughout the world, in Venable’s Washington, DC office. The Memorandum of Understanding between the Council and Larta will assist entrepreneurs in Dubai and build linkages to U.S. startups as they develop cross-border partnerships. His Excellency Hani Al Hamli, Secretary General of the Council, signed on behalf of the Council, and Rohit Shukla, Chief Executive Officer of Larta, signed on behalf of Larta.

The Dubai Economic Council comprises leading businessmen and officials representing the most vital sectors of the Emirate's economy to advise the government on innovative economic strategies and advocate sound economic policies that promote prosperous business environments, productivity, and a healthy investment climate, as well as to enhance Dubai's competitiveness in the world economy.
