Venable partner Larry Norton was quoted in an October 6, 2013 Politico article on an upcoming Supreme Court case, McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission, challenging limits on the amount of money individuals can donate to all federal candidates. While the case only concerns the total donation cap, some believe the Supreme Court could use it as an opportunity to look at laws governing contribution limits to candidates.
