Maryland State Bar Association recognizes Alex Koff’s work with the International Law Committee

At its annual meeting on June 17, 2017, the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) recognized Venable partner Alex Koff's work chairing a Task Force examining whether non-U.S. qualified attorneys should be permitted to practice as "foreign legal consultants" in Maryland. The Task Force, whose report was adopted by the MSBA Board of Governors last year, was recognized with the Presidential Best Section Project Award in both the public and the member benefit categories. Reportedly, this is the first time that a single project has won both awards.
