On November 12, 2019, Chris Borello was recognized by Law360 among its 2019 MVPs. A team of Law360 editors selected the 2019 MVP winners after reviewing nearly 900 submissions. The following is an excerpt from the publication:
Borello told Law360 the case he's worked on recently that's received the most attention was the Vectura dispute, in which a jury found in May that GlaxoSmithKline LLC and Glaxo Group Ltd. willfully infringed on Vectura's patents involving inhaler treatments for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
But despite that accomplishment, Borello said he was most proud of seeing his colleagues in action over the past year.
"Seeing folks that you've worked with for years do their first, for example, cross-examination at trial — there's an element of pride in that," Borello said. "I'd say that seeing my fellow team members in action doing things that they haven't done before would fall into the category as my proudest moment."
