The Fannie Angelos Program seeks to promote achievement and increase diversity within the legal profession through a collaboration between the University of Baltimore School of Law and Maryland's four historically black colleges and universities. One of the most successful legal diversity pipeline efforts in the country during the last decade, the Program has helped over 100 students gain admission to law school. Based upon such achievements, the American Bar Association recognized the Program with its Diversity Leadership Award in 2017.
