San Francisco Business Times Recognizes Venable Among the Region’s Top Corporate Philanthropists

On July 31, 2020, the San Francisco Business Times recognized Venable among its Top 100 Corporate Philanthropists for 2020. This award honors the region's most active and inspirational companies and nonprofits that have made a difference in their communities through both financial and volunteer philanthropic work. Both Venable and its philanthropic arm, the Venable Foundation, support the communities in which our attorneys and staff live and work. We provide grants and financial support through our engagements with a wide range of civic, cultural, and charitable endeavors, as well as public interest law and legal education. Children's services are a major focus, as is funding for disadvantaged families and individuals. The Foundation supports homeless shelters, food programs, community organizations, hospitals, hospices, and local chapters of national health organizations. The Foundation also funds a wide range of educational, artistic, and cultural events and organizations. The needs of recipients are brought to the attention of the firm and the Foundation by Venable attorneys and staff, who often contribute their time and talent to those causes.
