Venable LA Secures Appellate Victory Following Rare In-Person Oral Argument

In a contentious intra-family dispute relating to the ownership of a West Hollywood apartment building, Venable successfully obtained affirmance of an order denying the opposing parties’ attempt to intervene in the action, set aside a settlement agreement, and dismiss the referee charged with effectuating the settlement. Witt Chang argued before Justices Natalie P. Stone, Brian S. Currey, and Audrey B. Collins of California’s Second Appellate District, Division Four. Max Wellman, Alec Rishwain, and Ken Westcott also contributed to the win on appeal.
