Venable is pleased to announce that the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development has recognized Kyle Scherer as a recipient of its Native American 40 Under 40 award. The prestigious award is bestowed upon individuals under the age of 40, nominated by members of their communities, who have demonstrated leadership, initiative, and dedication and made significant contributions in business and to their community.
Mr. Scherer is a partner in Venable’s Environmental and Natural Resources Group and serves as a co-chair of the firm’s Native American Law and Policy Practice. He draws on significant experience working in the federal government under both Democratic and Republican administrations to counsel tribes, corporations, and state and local governments on matters involving energy and natural resource development, infrastructure, land use, and regulatory compliance.
