On January 9, 2024, The Tempus podcast featured Kevin Ghassomian in an interview on the importance of having the proper estate plans in place including wills, trusts, and other legal documents.
Ghassomian explained that wills make the administration of estates run smoothly and serve as a clear expression of one’s wishes regarding the distribution of assets and the guardianship of any children.
“Ultimately, everyone has a will…. the question is whether it's your will, or whether it's the will of a probate court judge,” Ghassomian explained. “Because ultimately, if you don't have a will where you express your own personal wishes… the court system gets involved to determine what happens with your wealth.”
