Washington, DC (May 16, 2024) – Venable LLP is pleased to announce that Brian Koosed has joined the firm as a partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice in the Washington, DC. and New York offices. Mr. Koosed is a seasoned litigator who represents corporations, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals in all aspects of commercial litigation and arbitration.

Mr. Koosed has extensive litigation and arbitration experience within the retail manufacturing and financial services sectors, specifically in the context of “business divorces,” whether they arise out of complex M&A transactions and joint venture agreements, or adversary proceedings in Chapter 11 bankruptcies. He also regularly represents clients in business fraud cases, pre-closing and post-closing deal disputes, defamation actions, deceptive trade practices and other consumer protection class actions, and insurance coverage disputes.
