Andrew Currie to Co-Present on Recent Developments in Chapter 11 at the Norton Institute on February 12

The three-hour panel will discuss the numerous cutting-edge developments in expansive DIP loans, creditor-on-creditor “violence,” appointment of examiners, artificial intelligence, gatekeeping function of bankruptcy courts post-confirmation, cryptocurrency issues, property of the estate, receivers and authority to file, sale of assets, and plan and confirmation of Chapter 11 plans in light of the recent Supreme Court case limiting third-party releases. Included in the discussion will be recent developments in Subchapter V cases.

Participating on the panel will be Andrew Currie; Bill Norton III, partner at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, Nashville, Tennessee; Rob Charles, partner at Womble Bond Dickinson, LLP, Tucson, Arizona; Richardo Kilpatrick (with focus on Subchapter V cases); and Judge Leif Clark (retired), who will lead the panel of experts in discussing important decisions in Chapter 11 cases reported over the past year.
