WASHINGTON, DC (June 18, 2026) — Hadron Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq: HDRN) announced the publication of its first U.S. patent application, "Micro Integral Nuclear Reactor" (Publication No. US 2026/0128185 A1). The application is the foundational technical disclosure underlying Hadron's Halo Micro-Modular Reactor (MMR). Venable LLP is working with Hadron to protect its innovations and develop its patent portfolio in the United States and around the world.

Hadron's application, published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on May 7, 2026, marks the first published asset in the company's growing intellectual property portfolio.

The published application describes the integral pressurized-water reactor architecture underlying the Halo MMR, which is a transportable 10 MWe microreactor designed for factory fabrication, simplified deployment, and enhanced safety. Filed on October 31, 2025, the application names Hadron founder and CEO Samuel Gibson, chief nuclear officer Ross Ridenoure, Christopher R. Neal, and Andrew M. Ward as inventors.

"This publication marks an important step for Hadron, enabling them to publicly discuss the core innovative technology of the Halo MMR as they pursue patent protection in the U.S. and internationally," said Ralph A. Dengler, a partner at Venable. "We are proud to support Hadron as it advances innovative nuclear technologies and builds a strong intellectual property portfolio around the Halo Micro-Modular Reactor."

The publication also follows several recent regulatory milestones for Hadron, including the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) acceptance of Hadron's Quality Assurance Program Description and submission of its Principal Design Criteria white paper, as the company advances the Halo MMR toward licensing and deployment across myriad industries.
