Venable partners Andrew Price, Glenn Moses, and Shahin Rothermel will perform with Capital Heat at the 11th Annual Law Rocks Washington, DC competition. The name Capital Heat is a nod to Venable’s musician partners from the DC and Miami offices. The charity event will be held on September 10 at the Atlantis, a recreation of the original 9:30 Club, where bands from The Police to Cyndi Lauper and the Red Hot Chili Peppers graced the stage. Venable’s band (Capital Heat) will cover music by Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, Metallica, Pat Benatar, and several others.

Capital Heat is an incarnation of Andrew’s local band, Noise in the Basement. Over the last decade, Noise in the Basement has been named Overall Champion four times and Judges' Choice twice, while raising more than $175,000 for charity. A significant portion of the band's fundraising efforts have supported Together We Bake, a DC nonprofit that provides job training and empowerment programs to underserved women. This year proceeds raised by the band will be donated to the Atlas Network, a champion of the worldwide freedom movement, connecting hundreds of independent nonpartisan organizations that share the common values of individual rights and free enterprise.
