Sports Business Journal Quotes Paul Levin on Sports-Adjacent Real Estate Development

1 min

On October 5, Paul Levin was quoted in Sports Business Journal in an article examining the opportunities and challenges that can arise when sports team owners pursue major real estate developments near one another.

According to the article, proposed sports-anchored developments in Chicago and Anaheim could provide a test case for how neighboring projects can coexist and potentially benefit from shared activity, crowds, and complementary uses.

Commenting on the potential benefits of neighboring sports developments, Levin said, “The synergies make so much sense, particularly for teams with different seasons, because you’re enhancing activation and crowds. As long as you’re not overbuilding for the market, we together can support a better real estate project. People that may have had disagreements in the past would have all the incentive to work together.”
