Orange County, CA (Oct. 26, 2026) — Venable LLP announced today that Amy Wong has joined the firm as a partner in the Commercial Litigation practice in Orange County. Wong advises national and global companies on complex litigation and risk management, including contract disputes, business torts, product liability, advertising and marketing matters, class action defense, Americans with Disabilities Act claims, and civil rights disputes.
Wong represents clients across industries such as consumer products, food and beverages, beauty and aesthetics, medical devices, manufacturing, private equity, and financial services. She works closely with business clients to develop strategic solutions to legal challenges, mitigate litigation risk, and support business operations.
"Amy brings an impressive combination of commercial litigation and class action defense experience, as well as practical business judgment,” said Ed Boyle, a co-chair of Venable's Litigation Division. “She will be a dynamic addition to our formidable California litigation practice."
Wong has experience representing large corporations, small businesses, municipalities, property owners, contractors, and business owners at all levels of civil litigation in state and federal courts. She also has handled high-exposure personal injury matters, securing early dismissals and favorable settlements.
"Companies today face disputes that are increasingly complex and closely tied to regulatory scrutiny, where litigation strategy can shape a business’s broader risk profile,” said Wong. “Venable’s integrated litigation and regulatory capabilities allow me to approach those challenges holistically, and I look forward to helping clients resolve them in ways that advance their long-term business objectives."
"We are continuing to build our Orange County office around accomplished attorneys whose practices align with the needs of businesses in this market," said Caitlin Blanche, partner-in-charge of Venable’s Orange County office. "Amy brings a sophisticated litigation practice, strong relationships in the Southern California business community, and experience across several industries that are important to our clients."
Wong earned her J.D. from Southwestern Law School and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is admitted to practice in California, before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California. She is a member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association and serves on the Pro Bono Advisory Council of Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California.
