Frank C. Cimino, Jr.


Frank Cimino, Jr. is a trial attorney and partner in Venable's Intellectual Property Group. He focuses his practice on patent disputes and has litigated dozens of complex, high-stakes patent cases for major companies and joint defense groups in courts across the United States.

Frank has significant experience serving as counsel on matters related to electronics, software, communications and automotive technologies. He also has experience litigating cases involving wireless communications protocols (including GPRS and GSM), high-energy laser welding, micro-mirror displays, vehicle occupant classification systems and software, navigation systems, internal combustion engines, photoreceptors, compact fluorescent lighting, automotive applications of injection molding (including gas-assist), PDA design and email forwarding, side airbag sensor systems and software, compression algorithms and codecs, semiconductor chip packaging and building materials.
