Bridging the Gap: Future Prospects for Middle East Peace

Peter Belk moderated the first of a two-part roundtable series called "Bridging the Gap: Future Prospects for Middle East Peace" on the Arab-Israeli conflict in Washington, DC at the Council on Foreign Relations. The roundtable was entitled "After the Second Lebanon War: Next Steps and the Challenge from Tehran," with the panel consisting of Mr. Belk, Daniel C. Kurtzer, former Ambassador to Israel and Egypt and currently Visiting Professor of Middle East Policy Studies at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs; and Frank G. Wisner, Vice Chairman, External Affairs of American International Group, Inc. and former Ambassador to India, the Philippines and Egypt.
