Peter Belk moderated the second of a two-part roundtable series called "Bridging the Gap: Future Prospects for Middle East Peace" on the Arab-Israeli conflict at Venable LLP in Washington, DC. The roundtable was entitled "The Mecca Accords and Beyond: A Look at the Palestinian Track," with the panel consisting of Mr. Belk, Martin S. Indyk, former Ambassador to Israel and Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs and currently Director of the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution; and Dr. Shibley Telhami, the Anwar Sadat Professor for Peace Development at the University of Maryland.
