Dismas Locaria will be speaking at the September monthly meeting of the National Contract Management Association, NOVA Chapter. His workshop, which will open up the meeting, is titled "What every Contracting Officer Needs to Know About Suspension and Debarment."
Description: Dismas Locaria is a member of Venable LLP’s Government Contracts group. Mr. Locaria’s practice focuses on assisting government contractors in all aspects of working with the Federal government, as well as representing and counseling clients in the burgeoning homeland security field. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to suspension, debarment, and contractor responsibility issues. Mr. Locaria has represented clients before various Federal agencies, including the EPA, Department of Navy, GSA, SBA, Army Corps. of Engineers, Maritime Administration, as well as others. Mr. Locaria is a graduate of the San Francisco State University (magna cum laude) and of the University of Maryland School of Law (with honors).
