"State Income Taxation of Trusts" at the District of Columbia Bar

On October 18, 2010, Jeanne Newlon and Jennifer Birchfield spoke at the DC Bar on "State Income Taxation of Trusts". They discussed issues about how trusts are subject to income tax in California, DC, Maryland, New York and Virginia, as well as decanting and other ways to remove a trust from a taxing state.
