Social media is changing the way people interact and organizations conduct business. The statistics are impressive. According to The Nielsen Company, a leading media research firm, time spent on social networks increased 277% in the United States last year, and Twitter usage grew more than 500%. Some organizations are leveraging social media successfully and many more are trying valiantly to understand it.
