Kevin L. Shepherd chaired a program on the Gatekeeper Initiative and client due diligence at the Spring 2011 meeting of the Working Group on Legal Opinions (WGLO) on May 3 in New York City. Kevin’s co-panelists were Cari Stinebower, an anti-money laundering compliance expert at Wiley Rein in Washington, and Marty Lybecker, a partner at Perkins Coie in Washington and chair-elect of the ABA Business Law Section. Formed in 2007, WGLO provides a national forum for the discussion of important issues relating to closing opinions.
