On July 21, 2011, the new Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (CFPB) created by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank) will come into being. Housed within the Federal Reserve System, this new independent watchdog is slated to take on powers formerly exercised by various regulatory agencies.
In this one-hour TeleBriefing, the faculty will provide practical tips on how to prepare for what is sure to be a dramatically different regulatory landscape under the CFPB.
Venable partner, Stuart P. Ingis, will serve as the moderator of the TeleBriefing.
