Zayd Alathari, Jeff Dunn, Chuck Morton and Ed Wilson organized and presented a training program on intellectual property strategies to an Iraqi Government Delegation.  The August 22, 2011 program was part of a three week training session sponsored by the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the U.S. Department of Commerce.  The delegation included the Chair of the Conference of Law School Deans of Iraq and Dean of the University of Baghdad, College of Law, Iraqi law professors and retired judges.  The CLDP, in partnership with the Iraqi government and law schools, have been working on developing the intellectual property system in Iraq.  The presentations focused on the role of an IP attorney in servicing client needs, driving business, problem solving and helping foster technology and creativity.  The training also included mock license negotiations.
