On Wednesday, April 4, 2012, Geoff Garinther, Chair of the Litigation Division, will present "Negotiating Plea Bargains with Defense Counsel" during the Criminal Federal Practice Seminar at the United States Department of Justice, National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina. The National Advocacy Center (NAC) is operated by the Executive Office for United States Attorneys. The facility was built to train federal, state, and local prosecutors and litigators in advocacy skills and management of legal operations; more than 10,000 legal personnel are trained annually.
