Kevin Shepherd chaired a plenary program at the mid-year meeting of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers on March 28, 2014. The program dealt with modifications to the Model Rules of Professional Responsibility proposed by the ABA Commission on Ethics 20/20 and adopted by the ABA House of Delegates in 2012 and 2013 as well as recent opinions issued by the ABA Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility. Kevin’s co-panelists were Georgette Phillips, a dean and professor at Wharton Business School and the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, and Pamela Westhoff, a partner in the real estate practice group at Sheppard Mullin in Los Angeles.
