"FATF and the Legal Profession: The Uneasy Engagement" at a New York Law School Symposium

This event has already occurred.
Kevin Shepherd, chair of the ABA Task Force on Gatekeeper Regulation and the Profession, presented “FATF and the Legal Profession: The Uneasy Engagement” at a symposium on April 25 sponsored by New York Law School’s Law Review. The Symposium, entitled “Combating Threats to the International Financial System: The Financial Action Task Force,” examined policy recommendations promulgated by the Paris-based Financial Action Task Force (which is the global standard setter for anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing), their implementation at both state and federal levels, and their direct impact on legal professionals in the corporate, financial, and trusts and estates legal fields.
