"Changing of the Guard - Privacy in the Era of Trump, Clinton, and Brexit" a CLE Luncheon hosted by Bird & Bird and Venable LLP

Milo Cividanes and colleagues from Bird & Bird presented "Changing of the Guard - Privacy in the Era of Trump, Clinton, and Brexit," a CLE Luncheon hosted by Bird & Bird and Venable LLP, on September 12, covering hot topics in privacy law on both sides of the Atlantic. Attendees were from companies doing business with consumers in both the United States and Europe, and issues concerning the increasing uncertainty in the face of recent regulatory changes that they face, such as the adoption of the General Data Protection Regulation and the launch of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, as well as changes to the regulatory landscape brought on by Brexit and the upcoming U.S. presidential election, were addressed.
