Brian O'Connor and Norman Lencz presented "Disguised Sale Rules" on day four of the Advanced Tax Institute, a four-day tax seminar sponsored jointly by the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA) and the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA). The presentation addressed the many pitfalls and opportunities in the “disguised sale” rules, with a particular focus on recently finalized Treasury Regulations that make some very dramatic changes to these rules.
