At the Federal Circuit Bar Association’s 2017 Bench & Bar Conference, Partner, Michael P. Sandonato moderated the Town Hall “Patent Eligible Subject Matter 35 U.S.C. Section 101.” In an interactive discussion with the audience, the panel provided an in-depth analysis of Federal Circuit’s and district courts’ treatment of Section 101 since the Supreme Court’s decision in Alice v CLS Bank, and various views on how the law in its current state may be impacting innovation were expressed.
