"Goldmines: Zip-Lines, Camping Trips and Ubers, Oh My! Developing Liability Waivers" at National Business Officers Association (NBOA) Annual Meeting

Liability is everywhere, and school- and non-school-sponsored events are no exception. In all types of activities—walking trips to the local museum, camping trips, international trips, even the dismissal of students from school—officials should consider whether a liability waiver is appropriate and, if so, the scope and extent of the waiver to be used.
