Diz Locaria presented at the ABA’s Section of Public Contract Law 2018 Fall Educational Program during the session "Politics & Policy of Responding to Procurement Crises" on November 1, 2018. The panel covered the legal and political aspects of responding to procurement crises when they arise, including the technical issues involved in the rollout of Healthcare.gov and Tennessee’s recent nullification of a large number of state education testing results. Mr. Locaria co-presented on the recent high-profile crises, responding to procurement crises, and potential changes to procurement policy and technical aspects of contracting.
