On April 11, 2019, featured guest lecturer Andrew Currie presented "Introduction to Plans of Reorganization" as part of a spring 2019 course, "A Seminar in Corporate Restructuring," taught by Mark Weinsweig, the founder of Weinsweig Advisors LLC, and Mark Spragg, a senior managing director at FTI Consulting. Mr. Currie's lecture provided an overview of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan process, including formulating plans, exit strategy, how to fund, types of plans, liquidating 11s, disclosure statements, classification, voting, priorities, cram-down and plan confirmation battles, feasibility, releases and post-confirmation issues, among other topics.
